In the second quarter of 2023, the top five sandbox games on the Android platform in Nigeria displayed diverse performance metrics in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here is a closer look at the trends for each game, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Roblox saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $1.5K in the last week of June. Weekly downloads fluctuated but reached a high of 3K in the same period. Active users showed a consistent upward trend, starting from 51.4K at the end of March and rising to 56.7K by the end of June.

Minecraft experienced a decline in weekly revenue, dropping from $130 at the end of March to $50 in the last week of June. Downloads remained relatively stable, hovering around 40 per week. Active users saw a slight decrease, from 12K at the beginning of the quarter to 11.2K by the end of June.

Blockman Go had a significant spike in revenue, particularly in the week of May 22, reaching $188. Downloads showed moderate fluctuations, peaking at 100 in early April. Active users decreased from 835 at the end of March to 735 by the end of June.

Pixel Worlds: MMO Sandbox had limited revenue data, with a peak of $116 in late May. Downloads were nonexistent after early April. Active users also declined substantially, from 83 at the end of March to 26 by the end of April, with no further data.
